TOURING THEATRE
RARE tours Sri Lanka with a travelling street drama production that performs in public venues. It is aimed at educating Sri Lankans of all ages on the current status of the Sri Lankan elephant, both wild and captive. The drama enacts the abuse of captive elephants and human elephant conflict from an elephants perspective as well as from the humans in a compelling and entertaining manner.
Considered to be one of the first of its kind in Sri Lanka and the world, the troupe has already performed at dozens of different locations in Colombo & Galle district of Sri Lanka.
